If any of you have used this display, have you noticed that the coolant temperature marker is extremely slow to reach the normal position?

With hot air very soon being delivered by the heater, it must be the display which is wrong and therefore not showing the proper reading. It takes about half an hour before the marker reaches normal temperature.
I am asking, because I doubt this fault is only on my car.

It is usual for coolant temperature to reach normal, before the oil temperature does, not the other way round.

Another interesting point shown by this display (remembering that some car manufacturers are obsessed with ever higher amounts of horse power) cruising on a level road at 70 mph, only requires 20 or 30 bhp, at 1,500 rpm.

You already had this question answered here:

Was there really a need to post it again?

Your car has an internal electric heater that provides warm air before coolant reaches temperature. Everything is working normally
