Have found a lovely ‘09 SL63 travelled only 12,000 miles. Headbolts have been done but for a lot of its life it was in storage and hardly driven. Has had recent main dealer servicing. Vehicle is immaculate but is having sat around for a long time something that could cause issues?

Also anything to look out for? Is the suspension as problematic as on SL55? Any common faults? I love these cars but potential maintenance scares me

I'd factor in needing to do a lot of deferred maintenance in the first year.

Agree with CF, factor in for maintenance items, seals and similar items that degrade without use. I would love one, at the right price!

Is this the black one in Chesterfield? If so the price is very punchy.

The suspension is much improved on the facelift models but needs checking as do all electrics, boot seals (is the boot floor wet?), the vacuum pump and the roof mechanism.

If spending that amount on an R230 personally I'd be getting an indie inspection.
