AMG GTS 2015 loses power on left hand turn

As described in the title really, even slightly hard left turn causes the power to dip and then go into what feels like limp home mode, No issues in a straight line or in right hand turns, no matter how hard the acceleration. Restarting the engine clears it - anybody come across this before?
Sorry to hear about your issues, driven plenty of GTs but I cant say I've experienced or heard of this before.
Sounds like it could be fuel related or maybe an electrical loose connection. I had an issue with my Tamora recently that was the ECU losing its map, could be something similar but the GT is a lot more resiliant than a low volume 20 year old british sport car.
Hopefully someone can shed some light but Id be getting it booked into a dealer/specialist.

The obvious answer is have you had it checked for error codes? On an older carb car it would be much easier to diagnose but with so many electronic systems now set up to 'reduce power' under various conditions, informed by numerous sensors, it could be one of any number of things. It might just be a faulty connector or sensor - has anything been worked on / disturbed recently.

Thanks worth a try. I have another fault code that being dealt with regarding transmission cooling but that doesn't seem to be related? A quick Goggle doesn't link EIS with drop in power and limp home mode but I'll discuss it with the garage. Thanks for the reply.Out of interest would you recommend the car, they are beautiful...

No not low on fuel, Google suggests that as a cause often but it makes no difference whether I'm full or emptyish. Other potential causes suggested is the steering angle sensor but that isn't margue specific. Thanks for the reply.Presumably you're not low on fuel?

When my car went into limp mode - it wouldn't go past 300bhp on the little power chart thing on the main screen. It's hardly absolute but a good way of seeing if the car is intentionally going into limp mode or not?
(the exhaust valves weren't opening, and it fixed itself after 3 hour drive as I was boarding the euro tunnel!).

Going into limp because the wheels are out of alignment / wheel speed sensor or steering angle sensor?
I have had this happen because the steering wheel was not in the straight ahead position when the car was travelling straight. It then went into limp around corners. It was because someone has hit a curb lightly throwing it all off - on a Disco though!
A wheel alignment cured it.
