C63 MY 2020 Facelift - where are the estates?
Discussion
Some time ago i was pining after a C63 S estate, but the facelift had come out and once i'd seen the gearbox improvements and the fancy 'manettino' style steering wheel dial i decided i need this. Sadly at the time i had no money, and they were at the top of the depreciation curve - so i figured i'd come back to one in the future.
Fast forward - and i now have a 9 month old daughter and thus in heavy need of a larger car. There's ZERO C63 estate facelifts on the market?
handful of pre-2019 cars, and ironically given how little have sold i see 5-6 incoming 2.0l variants (i just saw one of these in black wagon form for the first time and it does look lovely, but it was silent. shame)
I think this is the correct howmanyleft model tag - it's the only c63 count where starting year is ~2019, so i'm assuming tis is the facelifts: https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/mercedes_amg...
80 facelift cars on AT, not one estate.
given the new M3 Touring, this seems like the nice used/cheaper alternative until they drop. are these really that rare - and thus depreciation proof?

Sorry to say I spent 6 months looking for my C63, there are plenty of grey, white or black 4 door saloons around but if you want something a little different it will take time.
Covid started in 2019 and most car production was shut down in 2019 / 2020 so I suspect there weren't many built compared to the pre facelift cars.
There are also quite a few V8 C63's being kept at the end of their PCP/lease as the new 2.0 hybrid is not widely liked, has a poor residual, has increased dramatically in price along with interest rate increases making it a great idea to stick with what you have.
They are out there but they are rare!

If you’re worried the 4-banger 63 is silent, you won’t like the FL V8, it’s also very quiet. Pre-FL is what you want, sure it’s got older tech and the 7-speed over the 9-speed but they sound incredible.
I came from a pre-FL C63S (saloon) and recently moved to a 2018 E63S and it’s like a church mouse in comparison….

Maybe I’m being thick, but I cannot see where the separate listings for different models are in your link? I bought my C63S Estate in February and it was first registered in Q1 ‘24.
It’s loud enough for me, but then I drive around with the exhaust toggle permanently open as I’m a fifteen year old trapped in a 57 year old body.

I spent 6 months looking for a FL C63 Estate, S or non S I didn't have a preference, but the few that do came up didn't have the right options or were hugely overpriced, which didn't warrant the premium over a pre-FL. In the end I went with a pre-FL as it's now a 2nd car.
I still keep the alerts on AT for when one does come up and so far nothing, although I did find a couple on eBay and FB marketplace that weren't on AT.
There's also none on MB used cars site, not even pre-FL models.

there aren't really, you have to work it out based on the spec differentiator and the chart indicating when they were registered (thus which model they were)It’s loud enough for me, but then I drive around with the exhaust toggle permanently open as I’m a fifteen year old trapped in a 57 year old body.

yeah kinda sucks, if you dont want an Edition 1, or a high miler - there's one pre-FL on the market. in white, with some dodgy suspension.I still keep the alerts on AT for when one does come up and so far nothing, although I did find a couple on eBay and FB marketplace that weren't on AT.
