Ah! Good luck with that. When I had my first R230 (2002) back in 2008 I bought the relevant bracket for attaching a Brodit holder - just the metal thing.

Fast forward to October 2021 and I bought a 2010 R230 (facelift one that looks more like an R231). So I go online and find out it’s discontinued! But luckily I still had the one from 2008 in a box.

Ahah! It was this I think …. Says “pre order”.

Mine is mounted further up and looks a lot better.

It stream my music, Waze sound etc via a Bluetooth adapter (tune2air) which is plugged into the media interface socket.

Thanks, I saw that. What do you fix to the bracket that holds the phone?

Not sure what you mean; there’s the metal bracket (linked above) then a phone mount - Brodit are the best. They do them powered (cable or wireless), or unpowered. iPhone, Samsung etc etc.

Just been out to the garage…

Ah, I see - it's all one unit? Thanks for diving out to the garage.

Edited - now looking on my laptop rather than phone and it's much clearer - really appreciate that. Brodit make the cradle that fits to the bracket.

Yes. The bracket is the bit you might have problems finding.

Yeah, I've placed an order with the co. you linked and it had an option for next day delivery - lets see if that actually happens... Either way, it's the right solution.

Bracket arrived today! Now for the cradle.

Edited, I've ordered a universal cradle 511479 - does that sound right?
