My 2018 C220 does some weird stuff around Ad-Blue.

About 2 years agi I got tle Ad Blue Low warning and filled it, but then got a Nox sensor messge. Mercedes sorted it free of charge but ever since the gauge has said 6400 miles range and a quarter tank. It never seems to change much. I added 2 litres today and it went up to 7000 miles after a minute or so. I think I have put in only 20 litres in the last 2 years and 25,000 miles. It runs fine and gives decent MPG ( 53 overall, 60-64 on a run) but it does make me wonder what is going on.

I’ve got a Bmw and it’s used about 10-15litres in about 24000miles. Which is nothing compared to my Citroen van which has used about 80-100 litres in 46000 miles.

I will relax then. Just filled it fully and it still says 7000 miles and a quarter tank.

150 miles in an dthe engine management lighyt came on, and the Ad Blue readingf was saying 'Cannot read fluid level'.

Google and a call with a Merc spercialists suggest Meec have a major issue with Ad Blue. Ad Blue tank sensor is corroding and the fix is a new tank, sensort anf nox sensor (say good by to £1500). parts are on back order.

Some companies are offering to remove the ad blue system or reprogramme the car not to need ad blue. Anybody any experiemce?
