Locking wheel bolts
Discussion
I need to replace the locking wheel bolts on my 2007 Mercedes.
Febi Bilstein and McGard seem to be the most commonly available. Are they any good and are there are any advantages of one over the other?
Also any better options, or anything else I ought to consider, out there?
Am thoughts gratefully received.

Does anyone steal alloy wheels these days?
The first thing I do is replace the lockers with normal ones; they’re no hindrance or deterrent whatsoever to scrotes, and just serve to be a right pain in the arse to the owner. See also coded car stereos.
I agree, locking wheel bolts cause more grief and time wasting than all the other car problems put together. The first thing I do is replace the lockers with normal ones; they’re no hindrance or deterrent whatsoever to scrotes, and just serve to be a right pain in the arse to the owner. Just had to get a tyre place to remove all 4 locking bolts on my r170 - started changing wheels, rear 2 came off fine, front ones welded solid and just mashed the locking nut. Luckily there was enough meat left to get them off with an impact driver and a lot of swearing - replacing them with standard bolts now - they really aren’t worth the hassle/risk.
