Mercedes M275 engine remap

Hello.

I have the M275 engine in my W220 S600. Can anyone tell me definitely if the ECU needs removing and opening up for remap, as opposed to just being able to plug in...?

Thanks. Yes, I've contacted him already and would definitely be taking it to MSL (as they did my E63 biturbo)... but just impatient to know the answer :-)

I've had my M275's remapped by Kleemann.
You need to physically send the ECU to Denmark, plus the TCU in the case of the W220 / C215.

I think mine was done while still in the car. MBS in Southampton had it done for me. Its fantastic !!!
