has anybody used or have knowledge of Mercaid Manchester based in Hollinwood Oldham ?

looking at getting a a oil change before a road trip to Italy in July

not heard of them before and just wanted opinions

I’ve heard of them but not used them.

I do use for our SL and SLK 350s and my previous S213 E MPH Prestige in Rochdale - not actually very far from Hollinwood as it’s all motorway (15 mins?) and I can highly recommend them. Very nice people, very reasonable prices and they update everything on the Mercedes digital service record.

They’ll do it while you wait too, so have a coffee or nip down the cafe nearby and have a vast fatty fry up breakfast.

Merc Aid just quoted £210 for a oil and filer change

only want it doing for peace of mind as going on 3k road trip to the Alps for a week

My SL350 had an A (minor) service that was iirc £150 and about six weeks ago a B (major - have I got these the right way round?) that was £285 which included cabin filters etc.

My E220d was a lease car and it was £225 (compared with MB wanting 700).
