Newish W205 estate (S205) owner here; fitted some Thule roof bars today, but their positioning isn't right. I have the panoramic roof, and when opening it, the roof will hit the rear roofbar feet. So, given there's no dimples in the roof rails (Audi-esque) do I just move the rear feet to "just beyond" the pan roof's reach? And then move the front feet to 70cm in front of the rear feet?
The handbook just says "refer to manufacturers instructions", and the Thule instructions are reciprocally vague.
All help appreciated.

Had exactly this problem with my S205. Because the rails are so flush with the edge of the pan roof, there's not enough room for the roof to slide past the feet.

I bought mine from Roofbox (no affiliation). This is one of the few places I found that clearly states that any compatible feet/bars do not allow the roof to be opened: https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel3.php?em...

Agree that the Thule documentation on this is worse than useless, as it doesn't give a clear indication of this in the fitting instructions (it really should).

This is why I didn't keep them on the car when I didn't need them.

I moved the rear feet to 1cm beyond the rear of the open roof, and the front ones 70cm in front of the rears... this is how it looks:

I think I'll be doing the same - thanks for sharing
