New wheels - w204

Hi all, posted a few times about new wheels for the C63, wanting to go down from 19” to 18”. Well, finally went for it and gutted that I didn’t do it earlier. The car is so much happier on the smaller rims.

I’m so happy with them. Brabus, in a sale. Thankfully! No, not putting Brabus decals on the car, I’ll leave that for the diesel AMG crowd

It's good that it has worked out. Have you a view on the weight of the two sets of wheel & tyre combinations, as I wonder if that is a factor as well as the bigger sidewall?

I did this on mine, transformed the ride, good move!

You know, not a clue, but I’d assume it’s a combination of the two.

It’s taken a lot of noise (creaks etc) out of the cabin as well. To the point where I have lost my normal references of the speed I’m doing… Having to concentrate a lot more on that (and not dodge quite as many road imperfections!)
