Greetings, I'm looking for a non franchise outfit to service my A35.
Does anybody have a recommendation in the Lincoln/Boston area?

There is this new website called Google.

Unlike me, it's extremely helpful

TBF, the A35 is an old car, makes sense why he'd want a recommendation.

I'd contact some Goodwood Revival preparers personally.

My mate Neil is Lincoln way and he is the technical expert for the A30/35 club and he also restored them.

He'd be my choice!

I was both saddened and amused by the responses to my post under the heading Merc/AMG Servicing wherein I asked for advice about servicing an A35.
All ignored the heading and commented as if I was talking about an Austin A35 - a car I've not driven since the mid-sixties!
I wondered if the problem was with the three Rs, an opthalmology issue or simply that I'm not getting the joke..

I think it's come up before that there's a bit of a lack of coverage in that area - I don't think there's anything in the MB Specialists Wiki at the top of this sub-forum's menu.

If you haven't already I could only suggest looking / asking on the two main MB Uk forums - https://forums.mbclub.co.uk and https://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk

Oh dear, I hope you are not like Jeremy Corbyn, who it is said, last told a joke in 1957
A chuckle does cheer us all up.

I am sure that an M-B A35 is a fine car. Since a friend was killed in his stationary VW Up, I feel a little safer in larger Mercedes cars.
I think someone bought a A Class diesel, then when they lifted the bonnet, discovered that the engine was made by Renault. They were quite disappointed.
Don't know how true that is.

Speaking of that, I have seen a Mercedes-Benz pick up. It looked exactly like a Nissan Navara, except with a list price probably about double.
What are M-B playing at ?
