2014 E350 Diesel adblue message wont reset

Hi All, the message came up adblue, which i did, now the message doesn't reset and keeps showing me a countdown in miles until according to the message, my car wont start, previously when i have added the special jollop the message disappears after a run, any ideas?
I have searched but cant find anything that answers my question in the forums, its probably there and i simply cant see it.
Is it a main dealer job? Or a diy job?

Depends what's wrong with it, if it has a fault in the system it may not reset until that is fixed, no matter if you top it up or not.

If you are on facebook take a look at Mercedes Benz Owners Club UK.
It sounds like a problem with the ad blue tank or Nox sensor. Very common by all accounts, you would need to get it diagnosed and then if you don't have warranty it can cost a chunk.

I had my merc specialist top mine up last time. They had trouble getting the warning to reset, needed more adblue adding.

Given the bills a failed adblue pump can present - can the adblue be deleted and mapped out?

Mine refused to acknowledge an Adblue top up and continued to count down the mileage. My local Benz dealer reset it for free and it has been fine since then. I understand it is a common problem with these.
