I sat in a gtr and found the buckets seats very uncomfortable. I am tall and fairly inflexible so the upright back position really doesn’t suit me so although they look great they are no good for me.

Has anyone got experience with the amg performance suits as I wondered how they compared? Can the backrest angle be reclined and what other adjustment do they have? how is the comfort and support?

Thanks

hah, I also sat in a GT R, first one a year or 2 ago that had those performance seats and found those very good, I'm 1.81 and not fat, I really felt at home in those seats, a bit like the sport recaro's from bmw/renault/artega gt and so on, then 2 weeks ago I finally sat in a GT R with the bucketseats which I like most in such car, but... they felt not as good as the performance seats bowtie

so that was a thought a bit destroyed :-) but yes you can change such bucketseat in a few settings not automatic but you need some tools to do that, not so difficult me thinks.

As Rene says, you can adjust the tilt angle on the bucket seats, the side mount bracket has three different height positions, which also means you can change the angle.

I've got the performance seats in my GTC and they are much more comfortable than the buckets in the R.
They are, from memory, 8 way adjustable plus lumbar and also have air adjustment (albeit small) on the side and seat bolsters.
