Hello, I have a 2013 Vito 122 with the om642 engine. I have recently had the swirl flaps deleted and mapped out however the van is now intermittently going into limp home mode. When plugged into the star system it is giving the code

P126800 Component Y77/8 (boost pressure regulator) reports a fault

Can anyone please advise me exactly which component this is referring to? Google keeps pointing me in the direction of the turbo actuator which as far as I can tell is Y77/1 And I assume a different component.

Does Star not show a diagram or image of the component? Mine normally does.
If you have had it mapped I would expect this so be a boost sensor or related to boost.
Can you retrun it to the factory/original map and see if it stil goes into limp?

I think it should but I wasn’t shown it unfortunately, the kid who did the star scan for me has now gone radio silent.

The new map is just to map out the swirl flaps which have been removed due to a very visible fault. The limp mode issue was happening before the work but we thought sorting the swirl flaps would sort the issue.

It's definitely 'Y77/8' and not 'Y77/1' ? I can find lots of Y77/1 stuff on Google but nothing on Y77/8.
I think MB Star is your only option to be honest. Star should also test the component in most cases. It takes a little bit more knowledge to test things with Star.
Do you know of anybody else local to you who can plug in MB Star?

It is 100% y77/8.

Well after another diagnosis at a merc specialist it is y77/8 which is the turbo actuator. Just with a different code. Star comes up with a diagram.
