w204 serviced today at mb for £138.64 value service
Discussion
Petrol 2013 w204 serviced ( including a health check video ) washed hoovered air bag recall done unlimited tea and biscuits all for £138.64 at a main dealer - i think that's good value?
I was feeling rather generous and told them to keep the change from the £140 cash i paid them, my v8 c43 was the same price.

They offer 'cheap' servicing on older cars out of manufacturers warranty to try and get business from customers who would otherwise go to independant specialists. Main dealers across most manufacturers have been doing this for many years. You pretty much get the same service but it opens your eyes to how much of a rip off and licence to print money main dealer servicing actually is.
I had my first service carried out last week and got to sit in a main dealer fancy showroom for 3 hours with free coffee and biscuits, only to discover later that my oil was on the minimum and my screen wash hadnt been topped up! There was more things I wasnt happy about so the whole experience fell below the standard I should have received.
You mentioned the free wash and hoover as a plus point, but this would be horrifying for me so I always make sure they know not to go near my car with any kind of cleaning routine.

If i remember right ive been quoted around £250 for my next A service from Merc Glasgow. Not as good as the offer in the OPs post but not the worst.
They heavily discount cars over 10 years old.
As an aside, I held off servicing mine this year. Car has only done 1k since the last service and is currently SORN'D for the winter.
I'll get it serviced in the new year.

Sold mine recently but it was of the last on variable servicing and I only ever did it every 2yrs. I didn't do a lot of miles, and only really used it for a long run or two every month.
I think Sandown (dealer group the OP used) offer 40% discount on older cars so they should be cheaper on a proper A service than the Value service.

40% discount for parts n labour for over 9 years old.
Not the worst.
Need to see why they're quoting £250 for mine. Its just a basic A service with no ancillary items required.
Is that discounted? First service mine ever had, an A in 2006, was £250 - however due to confusion over the oil that needed to be used for variable servicing, I supplied my own and they charged me £150.Not the worst.
