Oooof: 1964 W110 190Dc by Binz
Very rare find is this one of only 188 Binz Finntail babies: W110 55 ps two liter diesel boat.
Not to be mistaken for a Belgium made Universal. IMA did about 2,700 wagons and more survived. The maybe a dozen left over Finntails by Binz were tailor made specials. This one was for a USA client and has barely run 55k miles.
Details are stunning. The ride is unreal. So comfortable and relaxing.
Column shifter 4-speed, big big wheel, Maserati-like seats, patina all over: what is not to like?
Road presence is immense...

Close encounter with one of 188 W110 specials by Binz:
It's hard to describe how glorious this W110 Heckflosse Binz 190Dc is when standing next to it. Driving is even more surreal.
The inside is a true time capsule. Seats are incredible comfy. At 'speed' everything is forgotten. Perfect relaxation.
This is not a radio... Four speed column shifter.
Also a rare S123 300d, the first official estate by Mercedes-Benz:
And then the S123: in perfect condition
When you look for one you will find many w123 but not a wagon... Amazing car, and this one has all the options in the book.
My written review about the W110 Heckflosse Binz 190Dc & S123 300D Combi will be published next year, and with photos by a pro.
