W205 cabriolet boot adjustment after spoiler fitting

I've just fitted a very light carbon fibre boot spoiler on my c class 250d cabriolet and the boot has stopped popping up when I try to open it.
I'm hoping it can be adjusted
Does anyone know how please?

It is raised by gas struts or springs? Either way you will need stronger struts/springs to counteract the weight of the spoiler… is my best guess.

Its raised on very small struts boot used to pop open from the key fob ok. I'll try replacing the gas struts

Just had another look and found no gas struts but the spring looks to be resting on a hexagonal nut. I wonder if this adjusts?
