CLK grille replacement to avoid bling

Saw a lovely CLK yesterday Red really suited it. However for my traditional taste the big shiny grille with the Sprinter-like star is too "bling". Can a more subdued grille be substituted?

I understand that the W203 C55 saloon and estate front end was based on the W209 CLK to give more room for the V8, but that its grill looks like one from a traditional Merc saloon. I don't know whether you'd just need to replace the grill, or more of the front end and used C55 parts will be very rare and new ones expensive if available.

There is a 5 Slat elegance grill and there is a 3 slat Sport grill. Maybe the 5 slat grill could do the job?
