I debated whether to put this in 'Home Mechanics' or here - I hope there's someone out there that knows a solution.
I've noticed recently after washing the car, or after heavy rain, that the drain position by the windscreen on the drivers side doesn't drain.

I've always tried to keep the grill area here clean, and the passenger side drains well enough:

My concern is, the water is sitting somewhere, rotting away!
Has anyone suffered this? How do you clear this (is there access from below somewhere which I haven't yet found)?

Thanks for your help.

What model (and year or model code) is your car?

I had the same issue with my W204 C Class.

The drain grating was blocked. It wasn't in an obvious position, i had to have a really good look before finding it. I used pin to help unblock the individual grating holes.

It seems to have done the job.

The car is a W204 (2013).
I've always tried to keep the holes in the plastic grill clear (they're clear now) which is why I think the blockage is further down
My fear is there's a head of water sitting there, rotting the surrounding metal
