W205 C300 petrol

Hi,
My father in law is considering a facelift 2019/20 saloon. I'm not too clued up on Mercs and the C300 seems rare with there not being much owner's reviews and experiences on forums so wondering if anyone on here could chime in on what to look out for and common problems etc. For info, the other car on his shortlist is (if you hadn't guessed) a BMW 330i - the current G20 model.
