Sorry this seems very simple but I can't get back into MB Club forums.
I go to the forgot password page. There is a verification field where you enter free text. I think when I originally set-up the account I was asked to enter some free text about what the forum was about. The verification field asks what this text is. I can't remember exactly, so I type something which doesn't match and I get the following:
Oops! We ran into some problems.
You did not complete the CAPTCHA verification properly. Please try again.
It doesn't seem that there is an email address I can write to either, can anybody help out.

Which exact forum do you mean? If it's https://forums.mbclub.uk then I'm on that one and can try and alert an administrator for you if you confirm your user name there.I go to the forgot password page. There are a number of similar sounding MB forums so need to know it's the right one.
Thanks, much appreciated it's the same as your link but with a "co" in it before the uk bit. https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/

Hi,
Your account isnt locked and the text field just requires the word 'mercedes' (Whats this site all about?)
Thanks to this thread I've been able to register tonight: To be honest I'd given up because of the Captura error as I couldn't work out what I'd done wrong. Like the previous poster I'd put in stuff like 'Bringing Mercedes Enthusiasts together' etc. Instead I thought I'd go through PH Mercedes section and see if any other W205 owners/posts and just happened to see this one. Your account isnt locked and the text field just requires the word 'mercedes' (Whats this site all about?)
Perhaps a hint like 'The brand of car we discuss' might help?

When I got on, I found the experience wasn't that good. It had that closed shop mentality and not being very friendly, so I left. YMMV.
OK so far; one poster made a fuss about the AMG badge that was already on my car when I bough it (I'd posted the picture of when we first got it home). Other than that, everyone else seems friendly enough. I started a thread in their detailing section as I'm giving it a good going over as a 'new to me' car. Wet sanding out a couple of light scratches, etc. Figure I might need some info at some point as I'll be doing my own servicing, etc, so thought I'd start out by giving something, but will see how it goes. Some one make forums seem to be dying a death (one I'm on for my RS2000 barely has any posts apart from some 'in joke' type posts.
