W205 C63 - Does the PARKTRONIC option include 360 camera?
Discussion
Hoping this is a simple question - despite spending quite a bit of time, I've been unable to find a definitive answer to this...
Does Active Parking Assist w/ Parktronic include the 360 camera? Is it integral to the system on a W205 or is a separately specc'd option?
As an aside, if anyone has the UK options list for a W205 C63 that would be great (I'm only able to find US-centric lists) - maybe my Googling isn't up to scratch
Thanks

Thanks all, that clears that up.
I was reading a couple of no so well written ads that didn’t have a photo of the buttons near the light switch that would have the 360 cam switch, so wondered if assist encompassed 360 camera.
I’m after a car with the 360 cam as I was impressed with it from a test drive, however I’d forego it for the right car.
Thanks

Do you really need it? Do you park in lots of narrow car park bays ?I was reading a couple of no so well written ads that didn’t have a photo of the buttons near the light switch that would have the 360 cam switch, so wondered if assist encompassed 360 camera.

I don’t and only have the rear camera (front camera would be nice but not been an issue in my ownership)
I would like to know what all the blanked buttons could be as I’ve never seen a picture of a car with them all live and what they do.
Fair point, I don’t tend to opt for narrow bays but it’s a nice option so perhaps it’s not a firm requirement.
From research a fully optioned 205 still has a blank button, but from left to right would have:
Steering Pilot, Lane Keep, Parking Sensor, 360 Camera, Heads Up
Apparently the shared button panel is used in the S class and the final blank button would be optioned for night vision.

One thing to look out for is secondary battery malfunction.
This has popped up on mine so need to get it changed but I believe it’s a function of much lower use due to wFH.
I’ve no idea on the cost but naturally it’s going to be an OEM only part. It’s function is apparently for the infotainment setup while the actual main battery is for spinning the engine over. Also it’s linked with stop start - this is something I’ll wager you will not see working on a test drive as it needs far longer to get charged” to do it. So you might have a similar issue.

Notoriously st aux batteries (not really a battery but a voltage convertor/capacitor) on most early 205s of all kinds - meant that very rarely would the stop start work and would fire up a number of electrical errors.
I believe they revised the aux in c.2017. Not really a halfords plug and play as not an extra battery in the true sense.

Is the revised 2017 aux battery interchangeable with the 2015-2017 pre facelift C63?
Also does anyone have any part numbers
Lastly anyone attempted to diy the change, loathed to be spending more again for something that might be dead easy for the home DIYer if it simply means quite a few hours effort.
