Spec from reg?

Hey MB fans,

Potentially looking at a W205, and I'm currently unable to get the vin for the car.

I know there used to be ways to get the vin from a reg, and then the spec from the VIN, but is there anyway to obtain a full spec sheet for a W205 from a UK registration plate?
