Michelin PSS vs PS4S on W205 C63s
Discussion
As a previous W204 C63 owner who moved to a W205 C63s, the one thing I have never been happy with is the ride quality and grip offered by the PSS that came with the car. The car seemed to crash over the slightest of bumps and the grip levels in damp/wet conditions were pretty average. So thought what the hell, swap them out early for some PS4s and hope for the best.
Anyone thinking about the PS4s - just go and get them. The C63s is a transformed car. Ride quality is a huge improvement...doesn't have that crashing feeling over potholes or bumps. It feels like the dampers are actually working now. The grip levels in wet/damp conditions are on a different level. I know this is expected given that the PS4s is the successor to the PSS - but until you have experienced it first hand it is hard to believe.

PS4S every time for me. Phenomenal tyre, and it lasts too! Currently on 26k miles of motorway running and I'll probably get to the summer before changing them.
This tyre is standard fit on my new CLA 35 and is my first experience of them.My previous CLA 250 had Bridgestone Turanza which I found to be a perfectly competent and hard wearing tyre - still had 6mm tread left after 5000 miles.
Obviously the PS4S is better suited to the increased performance capabilities of my new car, but I have been wondereding what the wear rate will be like given that I do not drive hard and am gentle on the car in general.
You say you are on 26k miles but do you happen to know what the tread depth is on the driving axle please?

Did you get the Mercedes marked PS4's or the regular ones? Anyone thinking about the PS4s - just go and get them. The C63s is a transformed car. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 215/45/R17 on our Alfa Romeo 147 2 litre: and I thought Good Year Eagle F1 Assymetric were good Insane grip, great in the wet and decent wear. Not too expensive too. Gets my vote.
I had trouble replacing my PS4s, (stopped making them apparently) and had to get PS5s.They say they have the same wet and dry grip, but even better milage.
We'll see.
Run the PS4S on my 2018 C63S coupe and they are great, better than the MPSS they replaced in the cold/wet weather we have had over the winter.
About the only time they get 'uncomfortable' is when you run into standing water at speed but I think thats more the width of the tyre than the tyre itself.

Just a change to the norm and don't run them yet on by C63 (204) but I have just bought a full set of Goodyear F1 Eagle Supersports for my TVR Tuscan (4.3 400bhp + and very light). TVR's are very susceptible to tyre choice and these are very very good. Loads of grip and will probably try them on the C63 next (currently on Goodyear Asymmetric's).
I know the PS4s is a good tyre but the grip on the Supersports have me really impressed.
