Hi
I have used this site once, quite a while back!!
That was to ask for advice on my 1952 royal Enfield bullet
Problem did get resolved..
Now I find myself back here again.
I have tried registering with MB forum, as I thought that would be best place to start !
But still awaiting email confirmation returning, to say I'm now a member of the prestigious order 😀 😉 .
Are any people on this site, clued up on what's possible and what's not on enhancing bhp / performance on a 2011 c350cdi 125 edit 265 bhp saloon ?
Not really after answers like ( well you could try this )!!
Something in stone would be greatly appreciated..
Cheers

Thanks for reply, I used Gad tuning on my E350 a few years back..
Returned to BMW for a while
330sei , what a car, or engine should I say..
but was getting on in years.
Then 325d msport coupe, another nice car but lacked in power..
So I'm back with the merc, I have had the boys from celtic tuning do a remap .
Which is stated as gains from 265 bhp, now running at 303 bhp.
I am not saying its slow, its not it makes me grin and smile quite a lot 😊
But I am still searching for a bit more !!
Obvious answers are, go buy a c63 then !
I understand that statement but , I do not want the expense of purchasing a decent one, nor the servicing , and fuel consumption of owning one !
So moving on..
Had a remap, so what else is available ?
Dpf remove, egr , do these make gains ?
Air induction kit, but cannot even find one to fit , obviously as its a diesel 🙄
Any thoughts ??
Cheers

From what I have read I understand that about 300 bhp is the limit on these without some costly upgrades (E.g. larger turbo). I have also read that on some models the gearbox torque limit stops any further tuning.

Thanks, mate..
You have come up with same assumptions that I have read into ..
I'm not going down the road of Camb shaft and gearbox enhancement..
It would be a money pit and a risk of trashing what I have already got 🙃
I am from the older generation I suppose, but still have the need for speed, without breaking the bank .
Thanks for your time.
Stay safe.
