SL 500 wheel spacers

Not for the purists out there,however,anyone recommend popular sizes of wheel spacer width front and rear you would go for to widen the stance and fill the arches

My car came with generic AMG copies fitted which I’ve changed for OE. The copies had hub centric spacers fitted to get them to the correct offset, so it’s not always done for aesthetic reasons.

I was looking at fitting 5mm front and 15mm rear spacers on mine to try and address the inset look of the standard 8” rear wheels. Never got round to it as found a set of staggered AMG alloys instead.
I have seen a couple of cars with the set up though, and they looked good.

If it's an R129 you may have to roll lips on the front arches, therefore creating (yet more) mud traps.
