Hello. You may remember me from such threads as ‘R129 SL500 exhaust’.

I am about to complete (in Jan) on my new garage (with detached house) - yes, same joke on both threads, you’re getting your money’s worth. Whilst I am pausing my exhaust plans for now, I would like to treat the old girl to a cover to keep her in top nick whilst she’s tucked away in the garage. I’m after any recommendations.

I’m a tart (and so is she), so I’d like one with a Mercedes badge on it. I found this one:

It’s not specifically fitted to the R129 shape so could be a bit flappy I guess. Has anyone got any other suggestions?

The last indoor cover I used ( unheated, attached garage) held condensation so I don't bother now. Just keep it ventilated.

I’ve got one like this for my face lifted R230 - came with the car.

It’s quite soft, stretchy and breathable

ETA: oh FFS!!! Why do iPhones do this? mad

Is it the cover that did it, or did the car always stick to the ceiling?
