Anyone have any experience?

I have a GR Yaris on order, but currently in one of the cheap PCH 840i Grand Coupes, so I'm having cold feet about the stark difference between the two and whether the GR driving experience will make up for the Yaris interior etc. So, looking at alternatives...

I really like newer CLA and both exterior and interior is fab to my eyes. It also seems to get some great feedback on the driving experience and the performance numbers are epic. I'd be going for the shooting brake (X118) which I personally prefer, also with added practicality...

Aside from the slightly crazy price, any downsides/opinions?

The only downside is as you say the price.
With only one trim spec available for 2022 the full list price is an eye watering £61k.
The CLA in any version is a beautiful and very stylish looking car though.

Yeah I'm a bit gutted - id done a quote on drive the deal and they were listing the non plus car still, including a discount, at around £50k. Since putting a PCP enquiry in with them, they now only list the plus (reflecting what you've said) and the discount is marginal. I think I could probably apply man maths to circa 50k, which is still barmy, bit 60k is a struggle!
