Sorry if there has already been a topic on this subject. I looked, but could not see one.
The MBUX system I think is becoming the current standard for many M-B models.
With the 'Hey Mercedes' feature, it does seem to work well, but does it only accept instructions from the driver?
Could a mischievous child in the back seat say for example, "Hey Mercedes ........ move the drivers seat further back"?
Any person inside the vehicle is able to activate the voice control as long as long as their voice is properly picked up by the system.
The thing with 'Hey Mercedes' is that commands need to be recognised by the system and phrased in a certain way so you cannot simply say anything and have it acted upon.
I am not sure whether moving the electric seat is a recognised comand or not. My feelng is that it is not...but maybe you have already tried it and it works, hence why you are asking the question.

Thank you for your reply Ron.
No, I have not tried that particular command, but I just had the horrifying thought, was it possible for a playful youngster to have a wonderful (annoying for the driver) game with the system, from their child seat in the back of the car.
Even 4 year olds are very quick to copy and for something that annoys parents, well that is even more fun.
There could be problems. Do you think Hey Mercedes can be switched off, when children are likely to interact with the system?
