ODBII diagnostic tool W204 C63

Hi All,

I've just bought a C63, which is the best tool to diagnose warning lights? Any recommendations appreciated.

iCarsoft do good ones - got the full code database, can reset airbag and ABS lights too.

They do dedicated units per manufacturer.

I’ve got a Merc one, though (just today as it happens) I’ve taken delivery of an iCarsoft EU Pro that can do most European cars, steering angle sensor resets, electronic handbrakes, force DPF regens and so on.

I had an earlier iCarSoft handheld (widescreen job) which worked very well on my W211.

I think they're about the best about for modest expenditure, next step up is rolling the dice on a knock-off STAR decoder and faff about with a laptop.

Thanks all, ran it through a STAR machine, P2187 and P2189 - Running Lean at Idle on Banks 1 and 2.

Car seems to be running fine, apart from a very slight mis-fire on tick over.
Which is the most active C63 UK forum?

Probably best to try Facebook these days, traditional forums for individual marques are rarely as well used as somewhere like PH.

Thought that would be the case, haven't used my FB account in 10yrs or the hotmail account it's registered to!
