Ive just bought the above car,it is an unbelievable drive

However,anyone improved the sound coming from the exhaust,very tame currently after coming from TVR background

Sacrilege! Don’t do it, these cars are about driving along in comfort in a leather three piece suite, climate control set and music through the quality sound system and keeping the noisy plebs out.

But then again I am biased.

You might think that your car sounds great, which in isolation is true.

Now try living on a road which goes out to the country where everyone rides past on their sports bike or their “weekend toy” ( ) with a loud exhaust.

I fking hate them.

I’d look at whatever was fitted to the SL55 from the factory.
Mine sounds potent but never annoying. Which is a balance that is hard to get right.

Nothing wrong with giving it a super car sound,understand the view in the gti and soobers knobs
