AMG GT - future classic?

I have a ‘19 E63S which I’ll soon replace with something more practical (and sedate) - likely a X5 M50d
Want to add a modern toy to the stable and was initially looking at 911’s, but they all seem so expensive for what you get.
I’m a big AMG fan, so a GT Coupe could fit the bill. I want something I can admire in the garage and use for weekends away with the wife. I know no car is depreciation proof but what is the consensus out there on AMG GT future values? After enjoying 450kw in the E Class I’d like a GT S or C. GT R is too hard for my liking.
Also any guesses on what the new model AMG GT will be powered by? Sort of feel it would be good to get in before they announce a hybrid!
