Today’s warning light has given me the requirement of a new pipe on the turbo. How many common faults can one model of car have? Exhaust temp sensor, abs sensor, water pump, coolant leak, injector issues.

Back order from Germany. Great news.

How old is the car? How many miles? Are you the original owner?

2nd owner, 86k, and it’s a MY2012. Would be a great car but for the recent issues. Estate, amg style, prem plus, Lots of spec and will do nearly 60mpg on a good run even with a car full but throwing too many wobbles and it’s time to say goodbye

Mine is a 2010. Just had a coolant leak from the coolant duct that the fuel filter sits in sorted, had a throttle valve reset a couple of years ago, and a broken wire for something or other about 9 years ago. But I’m the original owner, and that can make a difference.

At least you are 50% right.

Yup, short trips with 9yo diesel MB. Battery and dpf filter will be next. MB virgins are always shocked at the price of OEM parts. Old MBs are cheap for a reason.
