W205 C300 rear Brembo brake discs.

I'm looking at replacing rear pads and discs on our W205 C300 convertible.

It looks like the original discs fitted at made by Brembo and the part number is A0004231812.

I believe these are a 2 piece disc and I'm trying to work out if aftermarket Brembo parts will also have the bumpy part (apologies for poor description) on the hub section? If Euro Car Parts stock them I'll probably buy from there but the website doesn't have a picture.

Has anybody replaced their rear discs with another brand and do they also resemble the O.E Brembo discs?

The pic will be generic anyway, put your plate in and search for discs, they'll be correct. Or just take them back.

Well it seems Brembo do manufacture different discs for a aftermarket. ECP sell them which will physically fit but they have a conventional plain hub part which differs to the OE parts.

So I might have to try the Merc dealer!

I've had trouble with the plain hub Brembo discs warping on the front, next time I'd go with the OE style, (before anyone asks yes they were fitted correctly and all the torque settings were followed)

Newcastle Mercedes have an Ebay shop and the parts prices don't seem too bad on there

And in the end I did just that. I hit the discs from Newcastle Mercedes and the pads from ECP. Was pretty easy to change them.
