Merc specialist - Bournemouth - need an OBD reader

Hi all, anyone know a friendly specialist in/around Bournemouth?

Driving down to the South coast today (from Norfolk) and EML pinged up. Didn’t notice it for a while or I’d have spun back and swapped cars.

Think it’s thermostat related - cleared via OBD when it last appeared - (Straight after it was serviced on the one hot day on March). ran ok on the way down, just a bit hesitant/lumpy so would just rather clear it before heading back.

Traffic on the way down today was a nightmare, already looking forward to the trip back...!

Can't you just use Torque or Carley on your phone?

Get yourself a bluetooth/wireless ODB2 reader and can use it anywhere then

You probably don't want to use an MB dealer, but I personally know a lot of the guys at MB Poole. They're a decent bunch and will look after you (I used to work there) Either them or Star Tech.

Cheers all - went to give StarTech a call on Friday ahead of making the return journey and the EML had disappeared.

Assuming the lower temp on Fri made a difference - no idea how though!

Back home, so will get it booked in/sorted.
