As per the title, I've been considering adding a bit more poke but wanted to know if it was worth it. Does anyone have any experience of the performance/drivability difference?

Litchfield/GAD/MSL all offer mostly similar stage 1 maps.

The car is a pre-facelift. Thanks!

DMS offer an epic remap and they have done a number of C63s’s over the last few years. MSL are highly thought of too by AMG owners.

same car same idea here
but looking for a obd2 tune as taking it to a tuner isn't viable right now (car not in UK)

Whilst MSL are definately more "Mercedes". I had Litchfield work on my w205 c63, although not for a remap, and they are fantastic, as many others will testify.

As for driveability, I always felt that the chassis could handle more power easily, though I had no use for it.

MSL are defo worth a visit. Done a bit of work to my E63s now but they are absolutely churning out W205 C63s in for stage 1 maps, and stage 2 map and downpipes.

even a map alone would transform the car..easily 600bhp and similar torque numbers. One was in before my E63s for a stage 2 map and catless downpipes, it sounded absolutely nuts.

Dont be taken in too much by a tuner and their projected figures. I'd much rather have a car that maps to 600bhp and delivers the power in a linear manor compared to one thats running 640bhp which feels too highly strung or peaks and troffs on the power delivery. Very easy to start 'chasing numbers' when it comes to mapping i found.

497 BHP on the A45 as that print off is in PS, still 'healthy' though smile

I used to go to Litchfield with my GTR, they don't pledge big numbers, but will map it safe. I don't like their customer service much these days though, they like to get your cash, but I guess that's the way when a business grows beyond being a small more focused family outfit.

MSL seem decent, they seem to do a lot of AMG's and will answer queries quickly and efficiently, though I have heard some negative reviews from eurochargec which is so they use

Kirkland hans seems to get strong reviews and has put right disappointed customers from eurocharged. He is small and focused and also does a TCU tune, but he's not in the UK, he's in Germany but can be found on Instagram. He provides a handheld for flashing.

I have used GadTuning in Essex. Anthony there knows his stuff but doesnt brag about it.

Took my AMG GTS (different I know) there as well and went from 520bhp / 707nm up to 629bhp / 938nm. Reliable and just the 'right' amounts of pops and bags to be fun and not get on your (or others) nerves.

another for DMS. Mine is a S though.

Standard - 525bhp and 535 lb/ft
After - 625bhp and 710 lb/ft

exhaust crackles and bangs more than before. I think they adjust the electronic gauges and so on.

Honestly it's mega, get it done!
