GL63 AMG

Hi all, always been a bmw man and am looking at switching to Mercedes and a 2014 GL63 AMG. Do AMG mercs need a running in service like BMW M cars do? If so what mileage/time?
Also, are the service intervals dictated by the car or are they set ie 2 years or 12k miles which ever comes first?
