Hiya members, just wanted to know if there are any known issues or recalls on the GLC coupe I should be aware of?

I have comitted to buying one from our local Merc dealership and will give it a google but thought I'd ask on here as members normally know more about things that I need to look out for.

What's making it more difficult is that you can't test drive or really inspect the vehicle until you have paid for it.

So any advise would be great.

I have a another Mercedes model, but have been thinking of a standard GLC and watching comments on the forums.

I guess the obvious one, at least on the standard GLC, is 'crabbing' - where the front wheels jump during tight turns. Apparently fixed, or at least reduced, by fitting modified steering knuckles but I've seen comments that, if it's not already been done, dealers won't do it for people who aren't the original owners. MB supplied All Season to some owners as they lessened the issue (it's more pronounced in cold weather).

Only other thing I can think of is there seems to be a fair number of issues with LED headlights, especially the intelligent systems.

Agree re: crabbing. I'd work on the basis your car will do this.

Best chance of a fix is to get it to do it on the day of collection on the forecourt and insist they fix before you exchange your £££. You have the leverage in your court at that point.
