Service - how late can I be?

Don't know if it still applies - this was from last year, and while it's on the Smart website, it refers to MB Cars: https://www.smart.com/gb/en/node/2274
Who is the finance company? Probably more important to know their position.
I recall there being some surprise at it stating the normal grace period as 3 months - as the previous poster, it was generally understood to be a month.

Is asked them to confirm that the delay is acceptable under the terms of the lease.
Their response -
Our official stance is the vehicle must be serviced in line with the manufacturer’s requirements in your case every 12 months or 1.5k miles (whichever comes first).
Many people have struggled to get garage appointments during this COVID crisis, and their services have been delayed etc. I would recommend speaking to Mercedes directly to ensure this doesn’t affect your warranty with them.
I'm not actually sure that answers the question!
MB still haven't responded (not surprisingly in my experience).

When I last had a car with MBFS on lease it was 1000 miles / 30 days. (I;ve just edited that as I have no idea why I wrote what I did; I suspect beer).

I was told there was a 90 day grace period, which is consistent with the information on the link.Who is the finance company? Probably more important to know their position.

My lease company didn't answer the question (see above). I wasn't asking about warranty, but what their servicing requirement was.
Mercedes finally replied. They didn't answer the question either. Just said they appreciate my concern and that they take that in to consideration if necessary - "We appreciate your concerns during these difficult times, Mercedes-Benz has robust warranty and goodwill processes which take into consideration all appropriate factors."
So basically. Nobody knows, or at least is willing to give me a clear answer that actually means something.
Car booked in, but will be 28 days late as that's the earliest they can do, even though I booked it two months in advance.

Back in April I received the following email from Mercedes UK in relation to changes during the COVID-19 pandemic....
"If you're unable to attend a service appointment when your car's services is due, we've implemented a temporary revised limit for overdue services:
For Mercedes-Benz cars, the limit has increased to the sooner of 180 days past the current due date for a service to be completed or the vehicle reaching the 3,728 mileage interval foe a servie to be completed (previously 90 days / 1,864 mileage interval).
Please be advised that delayes to your vehicle being services, which are within the temporary revised limits for servicing set out above, will not invalidate your vhicles warranty. However, all of your other obligations and exclusions in relation to your vehicle's warranty remain."

The definition i'm sticking to is that for the Mercedes-Benz extended warranty, which stipulates in its policy handbook (on p11) that they allow up to "1000 miles or one calendar month (whichever happens first)" over the mileage or date the service is due.
