W213 e class adblue level can't be measured

Has anyone else had this issue. My engine warning light is on. Local garage diagnostic highlighted adblue level wasn't reading. Topped it up full but sensor is still not reading. Car runs fine. Can the sensor be replaced ? With Google search all results say full adblue tank change is needed.
