Hi all

I’m after a bit of advice!!

I am buying a used C Class and have narrowed it down to the blue and silver cars below, but struggling to decide between the two.

Both are the same age, mileage, condition and cost, so it’s down to colour alone.

Which colour do you think suits the car best? What would you go for???

I may have to flip coin!!

First world problem but I appreciate the opinion of PH.

Thanks

Definitely blue: there are way too many monochrome German cars out there (mine included 😔)

Blue. Silver is just another C class on the road. Unless you want to blend in

Silver. Brilliant blue is ok but looks dirty quickly and dull days kill the colour

Silver:

1. Silver shows off the curves of the car more than a dark colour, as such IMHO, the C Class is a prettier car for it.
2. There are a lot of silver cars out there but silver is the Mercedes racing colour and I always think most Mercedes look just right in this colour.
3. Blue looks a bit 'pipe & slippers' but again, that is just my opinion.

I'm biased towards silver as my S213 and R170 are both silver!

My previous S213 was selenite grey which was probably the most sympathetic car to keep visually clean without actually being clean!

Although silver would be my second choice ...

Not a fan of greys and blacks.

As an owner of a silver W205, go for the blue one!

It looks good in silver and it does flatter the shape. But man, its soooo boring. Tempted to wrap mine, but a what happened to all of the colors? Though its a little anonymous, which is nice.

That is absolutely stunning.

Thanks everyone. On balance, I think I’ll go for the blue.

100% blue.

A friend of mine has had 3x C-Class on lease now C180, C250, C250 "AMG design" and had all 3 of them in silver.

I think he’s saying that silver is more likely to blend in with all the other monochrome C classes since most are silver/grey/black.
