I'm in a new Mercedes for the first time in a long time and I've had quite a few issues with the car, disappointing to say the least but the local dealer has been pretty good thus far. Most problems have been resolved (with one warranty issue outstanding), but I can't believe how long the rear window takes to defrost (8-10 miles) along with the wing mirrors. Is this usual on MB's?

Demister in my E class is as fast as in any car I have owned.

Do you have a lot of condensation on the inside of the rear window, as I have found this can take a long time to clear? Caused by the interior of the car being damp either from wet coats etc. or a leak.

It’s brand new and garaged most nights, I’ve only had to use the function a couple of times but it’s glacial. I will add it to the list for my next visit to the dealer, it’s really not been a happy return to the marque after 13 years away. Customer services are woeful.
