We have had a year old GLC 63 for 2 months . We have found an intermittent fault re drive away from stationary . In one instance you get a burst of power with throttle application. Then , in opposite, you can get a delay in power, which is frankly dangerous when coming out of junctions .
Been at Main dealer for 2 weeks , even though first engineer confirmed noticed intermittent issues described we are now told this can be a normal issue for a 63.
Sounds rubbish to me, any experiences of this fault ?
Thanks

Is it the start-stop system? Perhaps a battery issue?

Have not seen this on the 43.

I have a GLC 63 and have not experienced this. AMGs do have a slight hesitation when pulling away from stationary. Never worked out if it's gearbox or engine but a harder throttle resolved it for me.

I've had seven AMGs and all have this slight hesitation.

On another note, how are you finding the tyre crabbing in this weather?

Dont have a GLC63, but have a C63 - dont have this at all.

If anything its super sensitive even in comfort mode! Actually, there is a question - which mode are you in? Sport and Sport+ are great, but I hate it dropping to first below 5MPH. Coming up to a junction or stop and it drops to 1st so you end up lurching away if you arent super sensitive with the throttle. Its OK if you are a little aggressive, but on cold tires that can lead to a bit of a slip, which doesnt look great at a 4-way stop!!!

But I have noticed that if I am in Sport or Sport+, it can lurch if arent careful and then you back-off and it slows and while not terrible, it isnt the smoothest way to get moving and you look a berk doing it! Comfort is much better though, with a start off in 2nd and as a result its much smoother.

Thanks for replies.

The tyre crabbing is terrible currently. But with 21" wheels, I knew this would be an issue !
