Switched Fuse Location on 2020 GLC300
Discussion
I’m hard wiring a dashcam to the above vehicle but am so far unable to find a switched fuse to connect it to, everything I’ve tested so far has been live even with the ignition off. I am not interested in running the cam while the ignition is off.
I’ve tried in the passenger footwell fuse box, drivers side fuse box and the fuse box in the boot but no joy.
Can anyone help or advise which fuse that piggybacked for this?

Gave up with fuses in the end. Went for the cigarette lighter socket in the front centre console. Took me less than five minutes to remove the console and install the cable. Here is how I did it:
Gently pull up the silver strip here
Remove the two screws and lift upwards the whole console.
Pull out rubber mat in ashtray and thread cable through hole.
Run cable to the left side through the side of this aperture and then thread cable down side and out onto the passenger footwell.
From there you can run the cable behind the glovebox and then up the a pillar under the rubber, along the windscreen and to the camera

Didn’t see this post earlier - that’s exactly what I found on my December 2018 E class.
I did find a switched fuse in the boot fuse box, but in the end I unscrewed the centre console (very easy indeed), lifted it up and spliced my little USB converter into the cigarette lighter supply which I located up behind the glove box. I used one of the USB fly leads to the dash cam and put the other, via one of the little cutouts, into the glovebox.
