Mercedes E350 Sport Grill Badge Removal

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question (new member!)
The grill badge on my W212 2009 is looking tired and I want to replace it, however I can’t find anywhere how to remove it! It appears on some models you can simply twist it to unlock and then pull out. Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to work and I can’t find any help online.
Do I need to remove the grill? Is anyone able to assist?
