E Class W212 Service schedule

How do i find out what checks and processes are conducted on an A service and a B service?
Car is getting on a bit now and i'm thinking of whether it's appropriate to start DIY maintaining the old bus.
Seems all a bit cloak and dagger - as i can't seem to find a line item checklist for these service routines.
I know that the A service is a glorified oil and filter change but if the majority of checks on the B are covered by an MOT, i'm not inclined to spend over £500 for someone to change the oil & filter. Fuel, air, pollen filters, transmission oil etc i appreciate are mileage related and of late i change these myself (certainly air and pollen filters) as i'm averse to paying £150 per hour for someone to do this for me.
The car's of an age where the difference in resale value is diddly squat
Any idea's?

Thanks. Jeez - they don't do much for their respective £300 (A service) or £500 (B service) do they?I always thought our solicitors charged way too much but now i'm thinking the local MB dealers should really wear masks aka Dirk Turpin.
Might as well just get the oil & filter changed every year, MOT test and do a few checks yourself.
Based upon this I think i'll DIY it from now on as the car is 10 years old

The other thing with diy-servicing is that you can change filters etc more often; dealers will only do what's on the electronic service sheet, especially if it's on a service plan. Even if it's not it can be very difficult because they (or certainly some of them) can (will) only service as per the manufacturer's schedule.
