Willing to pay for a registration plate, as opposed to asking for it for free?

Because they may get stopped by the police and have to remove the spacing between the R and the C wink.

Surely this is a wind up though? Why on earth would two people fight of such a plate!

OP- it's probably your partner who got it for you.

When you drive a C63 there is no need for spacing... It's just icing on the cake to have it stated in the number plate. Mine is a 6.3

Surely yours is a 63, but a 6.2, no?

So you could try RC62 AMG, if that’s available.

Or shoehorn as much of the following into a plate:

V8, 6208cc

HTH smile

Is there a minimum age to get on this site - as most responses sound like 12 year olds...!

Sarcasm makes this place go round. Nothing personal no doubt.

For what it’s worth, if someone’s recently purchased that plate, they must want it for a reason. Meaning if you do find the person who owns it, you’ll be paying way over the odds. I don’t mind a personal plate, although the views on them here are very much divided!

I’d suggest keeping it simple. Your car can do all the talking, without any help from a plate. (Car looks stunning by the way) **

Mine’s got a simple V8 ... plate using my shortened name and surname initial and does the job for me. Just apply a bit of lateral thinking, as there are loads of options out there.

  • it is a 6.2 though, although many people assume 6.3 due to the badging. I’ve had people telling me I’m wrong about my own car before, as they assume the badge is correct....

Thanks Sanguinary for your comments - yes I can take sarcasm as I give it, but can't be bothered with stupid...

Yes I occasionally check out the plates just in case, so I'm spitting feathers at missing that one - my fault I know, times are tough at the moment... Can't put C62 on plate as it is know as C63 so doesn't have the same effect. You are quite right, the car stands alone - it amazes me how many people react to seeing it let alone know what it is - and I love every minute of driving it, even though it is costing me an arm and a leg to keep it. But what price love and mine is irreplaceable as I've never seen another one like it...
