My Lap of the Nurburgring in my CLS63 AMG (im driving!)

Hi guys,



As you will know, last month I went over to Germany to the Nurburgring - you may have seen my passenger taxi lap in the AMG GT R as per the thread HERE: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...





An hour or so later, I did a lap myself in my own car:

Its not the fastest I know, but I was happy with it. I had a great time and the past 4 years doing sub 7min laps on my VR gaming set up clearly helped.



A shame about the guy who hit a deer halfway round

It is fun and better 'safe' then sorry, just drive it like a 'nürburgring touristenfahrten' toerist, save and more time on the ring for your money.

I'm always scared for the way back home...I've been there maybe 5 times, driven only 3 times, but from the 5 times on the way back home on the autobahn, my front window got hit by a stone (when passing a truck) 2 times, and needed to be replaced at home.

Bad luck

I drove 1100 on the entire trip without a single hiccup!
