Hi.
Don’t know if anyone else had this.
Just started car up and moved forward in garage so I could get into boot area.
About 1 hr later, started up and moved back, this time on start up threw smoke out exhaust.
Never done it before.
Perhaps something to do with 2 quick, short cold starts....!!!!!!

Ok now.

Regards.

Dave.

They will do that if its been lying for a bit, started, switched off, then restarted after a short period of time.

My 2013 C63 coupe with just 11'000km on the clock also puffs a bit of blueish smoke on cold start-ups. Not worried though (yet) as several of my stable past and present also do it after having been quiet and at rest for a while. Some puff and huff more than others biglaugh

I would say blue smoke is certainly not normal and indicates an issue somewhere..

Hi.
All good thanks, serviced today.
It was just because I started it up to pull it out of garage, then started it again to put it back in,
It’s done it before.
No worries.

When driving, nothing at all.

Perfectly normal with the M156: they don't like being started and then shut off shortly after. I avoid it at all costs because it isn't good for the cats.

I've owned my CLK63 from 37k miles and I did the same thing as you and had the same concern until I researched it.
